Cromer Pier

Cromer Pier is grade II listed and it is also an iconic landmark on the North Norfolk Coast. The pier is popular with locals and tourists and it has a theatre that provides a variety of shows. At high tide on a windy day as shown in this image the sea throws large boulders over the sea wall. The North Sea waves splash forming patterns as they hit the sea wall with great force.

A close up view of Norwich Castle taken with a wide angle lens. Norwich Castle was built on the order of William the Conqueror in the 11th century. The castle was used as a gaol from 1220 to 1887. In 1894 the Norwich Museum moved to Norwich Castle. The Castle is now a museum and art gallery. It holds significant objects from the region, especially archaeological finds and natural history specimens. The Castle is also a registry office and I have photographed many people getting married at this venue. Norwich Castle was awarded Grade I listed building status in 1954.

In the foreground is the Provision Market consisting of around 200 stalls selling assorted goods. The market is open Monday to Saturday with a few stalls opening on a Sunday.

Happisburgh Lighthouse on the stunning Norfolk coast was built in 1790. Originally one of a pair, it is the oldest working light in East Anglia. On a beautiful summer's day the sky makes the red and white stripes of the lighthouse standout. With a range of 18 miles, the light flashes three times every 30 seconds. You can view inside the lighthouse and climb the tower on open days.

The grand St James Mill, in Norwich, owned by Jarrold, a local independent apartment store, stands tall and proud on the banks of the River Wensum, casting its splendid reflection on the tranquil waters. Located in the Broads National Park it's gorgeous cityscape is especially stunning in the Autumn when viewed from the riverside area. The offices within the mill are a hub of activity and productivity, buzzing with the energy of creative minds.
