My interest in photography began many years ago when I received a compact film camera for my twenty first birthday. This coincided with a weeks winter climbing and mountaineering trip to Glencoe, Scotland.  During this week I used a roll of 36 exposure film and was very inspired with the results.  I subsequently became a member of a local camera club, and one of my photographs from this first roll of film was pleasingly accepted into a Welsh exhibition. After this success I was hooked on photography, progressed to SLR film cameras, dark room work and now digital photography.

I enjoy all types of photography, especially landscape, sports photography, street photography and working in the black and white media.
