I am a self-taught photographer with over thirty years experience, and hopefully learning more all the time.  I specialise in landscapes, travel, and steam railways (well, who doesn't love a beautiful old steam engine and a bit of nostalgia?)

In the past I have given talks at camera clubs and I have often been asked "what is the best piece of photography equipment to have?"  My answer was always the same, that which you are born with, your eyes. It is the person who sees and visualises the image, the camera just records it.  It's there for you to see........
