The Millennium Bridge, a pinhole photograph

The Millennium Bridge, a pinhole photograph

The Millennium Bridge, London, with a view of St Paul's Cathedral and the City of London. From the South Bank, using my panoramic pinhole camera, it was possible to capture an amazing 141 degree angle of view across the river. A 27 second exposure smoothed out the waves on the river, and rendered a passing Water Taxi invisible! RealitySoSubtle 6x17 pinhole camera. Pinhole photography creates an ethereal feel to a photograph, very similar to the photographs created by the pioneers of photography of the late nineteenth century.
