Hi, I am a Landscape Photographer of three decades based in the North West of Scotland close to the Isle of Skye.
It's wild here most of the time which suits me fine. I don't like bland weather. I enjoy the fury of a savage storm and a walk in the wilderness with my camera. Occasionally it can be so calm and tranquil you might think this place is Nirvana. A false sense of security until the next gale blows in, another deluge starts and torrents of water hurtle down the hillsides. All Four Seasons in one day is normal here !
Then a glimmer of light appears giving hope, and Magic happens. I attempt to capture those fleeting moments of light. Sometimes it is a long wait. No problem in such beautiful surroundings while the Sun and Clouds play Hide and Seek.
Photography is about a moment in time. Don't be too busy to notice ! Stay still for a while or you miss it. Capture the emotion of the moment in a picture. It could be the memory of a lifetime. Imagine it displayed on your wall..... for many years to come.

EILEAN DONAN CASTLE
Some scenic landscapes of the famous Eilean Donan Castle, which has been featured in many movies, and is the most visited Castle in the Scottish Highlands, with all good reason since it occupies a sensational location on Loch Duich, nestled within the Kintail Hills, with views towards the Isle of Skye.
SUTHERLAND, NORTHERN SCOTLAND NC500.
Scenic Landscapes of The Far North...Sutherland. A sparsely populated area of outstanding Beauty. An austere Landscape which forms part of the North West Geopark. From the area around Loch Inchard, Oldshoremore and Laxford, and Northward to Durness and Tongue. Now part of the NC500 road trip.
