The Castle is built on a tidal Islet on Loch Laich near Port Appin in the Argyll area of Scotland . The present building dates back to the mid 1400's and was more recently seen in Monty Python & the Holy Grail .

It was commissioned by wealthy local banker John Stuart McCaig in 1897 but was never finished , work on the Tower stopped in 1902 on his death . It is now a tourist attraction offering great views of Oban & the Isles , there is also a public garden inside the structure .

This is the inside of St.Conans Kirk above Loch Awe in the Argyll & Bute area of the West Highlands of Scotland . Designed by Walter Douglas Campbell and built in 1881-6 with renovation work in 1906 . The Kirk has many different styles of build from Ancient Roman to Norman & Gothic which give it a unique look ! The large windows in the chancel allow the light to flood in and fill the area .

This is Chatelherault the former hunting lodge of the Dukes of Hamilton in the Clyde Valley area of Scotland . The lodge was used when the Dukes were in residence at the nearby Hamilton Palace , which is sadly no longer standing . The lodge was restored by the local Council in the 1990's and is now used as a visitor centre for a country park and it also hosts weddings and other functions .

The Jubilee Bridge was built in 1898 to celebrate the Diamond Jubilee of Queen Victoria . It crosses marshland known locally as 'The Marach' and made it easier for the residents of Port Appin to get to the Kirk in Appin . Now very popular with walkers , cyclists and bird watchers , oh and photographers ! The bridge was restored a few years ago .
