Changing of the guard is a ceremony during which the soldiers guarding a major government building or state residence, like Windsor Castle in England, are replaced by a new shift. The Changing of the Guard is one of the highlights of a visit to Windsor. A band usually accompanies the Guards, although this is subject to weather conditions.
