Thorp Perrow Hall is a large 18th-century country house standing in an estate on the northern edge of Snape village. It is built of cement rendered stone with a central 3-storey 5-bay block and 2-storey wings. The central 3 bays are bowed. The Thorp Perrow estate belonged at one time to Sir Robert Danby but was then acquired by William Milbank, who also bought the castle and Snape village in 1798. His son and heir Mark Milbank was MP for Camelford. His wife, Lady Augusta, created the pinetum....

The glistening effect of the golden wet cobbles is quite pronounced just after a rain shower. Waiting at some traffic lights (Not in a car, but as a photographer), I waited for the lights to go red, then waited for the traffic to disappear then took the shot. Taken at night time, with a camera on top of a tripod to get a longer exposure of around 25 seconds, to get them to look crisp. Taken at Leeds, West Yorkshire. This pretty image would look lovely as a canvas or print or even as other merchandise that is for sale.

Entrance to the Kilnsey Trout farm is free, but you do need a current and up to date licence to fish there. It is situated in Wharfedale, The Dales National Park, North Yorkshire. You are not allowed to keep the Trout, but unhook them and gently put the fish back in the water. A special piece of smoked glass is placed in front of the lens on the camera, to slow down the shutter speed to achieve glass like reflections on the lake. Amanita muscaria, commonly known as the fly agaric or fly amanita is a mainly red topped toadstool, with a white stem, and white spots. It is thought that flies are drawn to it. Although infamous for it's toxicity, deaths associated with Fly Agaric are quite rare. It is also infamous for it's hallucinogeric compounds and can be used for recreational hallucogens but very very dangerous to do so. Not recommended to try. They mainly grow under coniferous and/or deciduous trees and at Autumn time. This would look very unusual but interesting as a canvas, print, or other merchandise that is for sale.
