Spinnaker Tower Portsmouth

The Spinnaker Tower as seen reflected in the waters of Gunwharf Quays. The tower is 560 feet tall. Its shape was chosen by Portsmouth residents from a selection. It reflects Portsmouth's maritime history through its being modelled after a sail. You can make out abseilers working on the top of the tower.

No Man's Land Fort is a fort in the Solent, near Portsmouth, England, built as part of the Palmerston Forts. The fort is a sea fort built as a result of the 1859 Royal Commission. It is 2.2 kilometres off the coast of the Isle of Wight.The fort was built between the years 1867 and 1880 to protect Portsmouth.
