Built in the early 19th Century, the gothic-style, Grade II listed Drayton Turret Footbridge is located near to the entrance of the Drayton Manor theme park and is among the most ornate bridges anywhere on Britain’s canals.

Another serene walk along the Birmingham/Fazeley canal, my favourite place to take pictures, one warm July morning.
This is two shots in one. The sky was not great when I originallt took this shot so I chenged the sky to add some drama to the picture.
Another serene walk along the Birmingham/Fazeley canal, my favourite place to take pictures, one warm July morning. This tree always look to me like it's very much on its own while all the other trees are very much together.
I did replace the sky on this shot with a sky with a bit more detail as the original shot was just a white blanket of sky.

With two gleaming white turrets linked together by a wooden footbridge, the bridge looks more like something you would find in the pages of a fairy-tale book rather than along one of the nation’s busiest waterways.

In the serene, misty landscape of early morning, a picturesque scene unfolds. The air is thick with moisture as a gentle fog blankets the area, lending an ethereal quality to the surroundings. Tall, slender trees stand like sentinels, their trunks disappearing into the mist, their branches adorned with dew-kissed leaves. The subdued light of dawn filters through the foliage, casting a soft, diffused glow.
In the foreground, a rustic gate, its worn steel structure weathered and aged by time. Nearby, a well-trodden path meanders through the dew-laden grass, leading the way into a vast, open field.
The field stretches out into the distance, a sea of grassy green under the hushed morning sky. The mist hangs low over the field, concealing its farthest reaches, leaving only the immediate surroundings visible. It's a scene that evokes a sense of tranquility and mystery, where nature and time appear to blend seamlessly, inviting exploration and contemplation.
